Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Dog in Mexico to Fifteen Thousand Pounds
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has boosted the bounty for leads regarding the lost pet Halo to $20,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
the dog, who vanished on 9 October, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and the footballer posted a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any updates concerning our Halo please get in touch with us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all praying she's ok and will return with us shortly," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Initial Reward and Heartfelt Appeals
Ramsey initially disclosed that Halo had vanished 14 days prior and has subsequently posted numerous pictures of the adored dog on Instagram.
A £7.5k reward was originally offered, but with no news on the dog's whereabouts after a week, the player and his family raised the amount.
"Our only wish is our girl home," he stated in a further request on social media after the decade-old pet was lost.
A recent picture post is a black and white photo of Halo sleeping, her head resting in the curve of the athlete's elbow, with the message: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you again sweet Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
The footballer has also circulated a message from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media saying they have some "pressing questions" about the incident and are concerned the household "could possibly not get clarity".
"We still haven't found our dog. I don't think we ever will," his wife's update read.
The Wales leader signed with Mexican premier team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his debut in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the first prominent British Isles player to participate in the Liga MX.
