The Brazilian star Issues Apology to Los Blancos Devotees
The forward has netted 5 finishes in 10 Spanish league appearances this season.
The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to fans for his response when substituted in Sunday's fiery match against Barcelona win.
The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd min and displayed his annoyance by walking immediately down the tunnel.
He subsequently came back to the dugout and, after his side's 2-1 win, tried to confront the opposition's Lamine Yamal during unpleasant post-match scenes.
"Today I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was taken off in the Clasico," he wrote on X.
"Just as I have said in person during the latest session, I wish to express regret anew to my teammates, the organization, and the leadership.
"Occasionally fervor takes over me because I continuously aim to triumph and assist my club. My winning mentality stems from the affection I feel for this team and each thing it stands for."
He moved to the Spanish capital from Flamengo in recent years for millions and has scored over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.
But his future in the Madrid is unclear with rumors in recent months suggesting that the club would contemplate permitting the 25-year-old leave if they obtained a appropriate bid.
When he was substituted on that day, broadcast footage from coverage provider the platform picked him up stating: "Again me! I'm exiting the club! It's wiser if I leave, I'm going."
In his most recent statement on X, he said: "I vow to keep fighting at all times for the benefit of Los Blancos, as I have done since the very beginning."
